The House of Representatives will vote on the $1.9 trillion coronavirus economic aid package on Wednesday, according to House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer’s office.

“We expect to consider the American Rescue Plan first thing tomorrow morning (we will convene the House for legislative business at 9 a.m. tomorrow, instead of noon),” according to a notice from Hoyer’s office Tuesday morning.

The bill passed on a 50-49 vote in the Senate Saturday after a marathon series of amendment votes. House approval — which is expected — would clear the bill for President Joe Biden’s signature ahead of the March 14 expiration date of some pandemic-related jobless benefits.
